The thing I liked most about Tahini was that she could do whatever she wanted with her music, and that she never tried to sell it in any way, or imply that it was somehow "sexier" than others. She was very funny about the whole situation and didn't try to change herself to suit the crowd.
I used to listen to her on the phone when I was a kid, and the man who did her voice was a few years ahead of her in her transition. He was a gorgeous lady.
